Basilica of St. Anthony
A majestic and complex religious building, with ancient and contemporary works of art, that guards the mortal remains of St. Anthony, the Basilica del Santo (begun in 1232) is a destination every year for millions of tourists and pilgrims from all over the world.
The Scrovegni Chapel
The Scrovegni Chapel, a masterpiece of the 14th century Italian and European painting, is considered the most complete cycle of frescoes created by Giotto in his mature years.
Botanical Garden
The oldest university Botanical Garden in the world, it was established by the Venetian Republic for the cultivation of medicinal plants. Currently, it hosts intense educational and dissemination activity.
Since 1997, it has been considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Caffè Pedrocchi
Caffè Pedrocchi is one of the largest and most famous cafés in the world.
Designed by the architect Jappelli, it consists of two floors: the ground floor, inaugurated in 1831, houses the rooms for customers, the counter, the laboratories and the kitchen.
On the main floor, there are some beautiful rooms (Rossini room, Egyptian room) used for temporary exhibitions.
